The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Featherston:—Sgt. E. J. Sheppard, Army Pay Department, to bo temporary staff sergeaut; Pte. M. P. Gregory, canteen staff, to be temporary corporal. E Company, CI, to be lancecorporals:—Pt'es. H. A. Dagley, W. E. Lindsay, H. It H. Foster, J. H. Riddall. O. Goldsmith. The 44th Infantry Reinforcements will move from Featherston to Trentham by "road on Thursday, iSeptember 26. The 46th Infantry Reinforcements will arrive at Featherston from Trentham on Thursday, September 26. Cpl. S. Karks, D Company, 01, to be temporary sergeant; Sgts. P. J. G. Palmer, R. J. Foster, Army Pay Department, to be temporary staff sorgeants; Cpls. G. B. Gardener, B. Montgomery, Army Pay Department, to be temporary sergeants; Ptes. C. V, Atkins, H. M. Salmon, Army; Pay Department, to be temporary corporals; A. L. Carrell, W. E. Clarke, G. Glen, H. W. Frampton, H. L. Jenkins, H. A. C. Walpole, D. M. Park, P. F. Roper, D Company,; 01, to bo lance-corporals. Tho P.M.O.'s Gup for the best kept lijies and huts at Featherston has been awarded to A Company, 45th Rein:, forcomonts, for the week ending September 13. C Company, 43rd Reinforcements, were the rswmers-np.
