ENEMY MINES DISCOVERED
The Naval Adviser, Captain HallThompson, advises that an onemy mine liaß been washed up on tlie , West Coast of tlie North Island, about four miles south of Cape Maria vanDiemen, and another has been found drifting off the coast in the vicinity .of Up« Brett. Both mines have been secured and the necessary stepß taken to destroy thorn.
