While an English lady was examining the Australian war pictures at the Graftoii Gallery, London, quite recently, she discovered in one- of tho photographs the figure of. her son, whom she bad long believed,to he dead. The lad, who belonged to an English regiment, became separated from his comrades ut Gallipoli, had donned an Australian uniform, and bad continued to fight with overseas troops in Gallipoli and France until September 20, 1917, when he was wounded and taken to a dressing station, where he was one of a group photographed by Captain Hurley, the oflicial photographer.
