FATAL LIFT ACCIDENT. By Telegraph—Press Association Auckland, September 11. A young man named John Williamson, residing at Eilerslie, went to the lift at, L. D. Nathan's warehouse at closing time yesterday. Tho warehouse foreman heard a crash in the lift and found the cage empty. Williamson was at tho bottom of the well, dead, his skull being fractured. SUDDEN DEATH OF A MAORI. By Telegraph—Press Association Waimate. September 11. A Maori named Wiremu Te Kauri, or William Isaac, aged 32, died suddenly at Glenavy yesterday. The Coroner this morning found tluit the cause of death was heart failure. A FATAL JUMP. By Teleeranh.—Press Association Timaru, September 11. John O'Leary, aged 62 years, employed at Kirk's brickyards, jumped from a clay bank thirty feet high, breaking his neck. Ho had apparently been suffering from delusions, and had told his mates the police wero coming to arrest him.
