KINO'S THEATKE. "Tho Missing Bank Notes," a sensational detective story, is attracting big houses at the King's Theatre. The story, a particularly clever one, is in the hands of such a lino collection of artists as Norma Talmadge, Constance Talmadge, Bobbie Harron, and Elmer Clifton. Interest is maintained right through. Excellent supports complcto a fino programme. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. ■ ' It is seldom a picture gains such universal appreciation as tho Vitagraph drama, "llis Own People," now showing at Everybody's Theatre. Harry Moroy and Gladys Lcslio appeal- as the chief characters, and their impersonations are so true and bo likeable, without a trace of over-acting or burlesque, that they becomo wholly charming. Other films screened are the final epißode of ''Tho Myßtery of the Double Gross," a fine scenic, depicting a trip across Niagara Falls in an aerial tram, and a Patho Gazette. EMPEES3 THEATRE. Alieo Brady has tho central rolo in the World drama, "The Trap," now showing at the Empress Theatre. Mis? Brady plays with fine power the part of an outcast girl, who is driven from home by her. parents, and falls into the hands of a bad man and nearly loses tho love of a good one. Tlio crowds that have attended the popular moving picture theatre this week cap. dcclaro that Alice jsrnay was never seen to such advantage as 6ho is in this recent production. The picture contains some delightful settings. AKTORAFT THEATRE. The five-act drama, "The Eternal Temptress," now shotting at the Artcraft Theatre, is drawing steadily increasing crowds. The leading role in the drama is essayed by Una Oavalieri. a powerful actress, who has a part that eminently suits her. Julian Eltinge, a remarkably clever female impersonator, (ills the leading rolo in tho five-act comedy, "The Widow's Might," in which amusinc situations abound. These two star attractions are in themselves a generous programme, but the American and Australian Topical Gazettes' are also included. Tho programme will be repeated three times today, and every day until Friday. The ovening sessions commence at 7.30 p.m. ' ENGLISH PIERROTS. •Those who missed the opportunity of attending a performance of the English Pierrots during> their previous season in Wellington will have another.-opportunity (luring the forthcoming return rfnd farewell season, commencing on Saturday next at the' Town Hall. Popular programmes '. are promised, and interesting items will be included.
