REPATRIATION OF WAR VETERANS
AMERICAN PRESS TRIBUTE TO SCHEME. Now Yorkj Soptember 9. The New York "Times," commending the belligerent nations' caro of returned veterans after the war, says:— "All nations opposing Germany will eventually _ provide for the welfare of their soldiers after tho war, despite the delay in furnishing definite plans. Australia's notable preparations for the caro of her veterans are especially interesting to Americans, because our soldiers and those of tho island continent havq been like brothers oil the battlefields of Franco." The_ paper describes tho Australian repatriation plans, and praises in the highest terms Australian foresight. It pints out that other nations should follow its example.
