NO NATIONAL CANDIDATE YET. No candidate to represent the National Government has yet been announced for the Wellington Central vacancy. Tho choice will nave'to be made in a few days, certainly within a week. In tho meantime it is Btated that two other candidates aro offering, Mr. J. E. Fitzgerald, member of the City Council, and Mr. 0, W. Tanner. Both declare that they will go to the poll. Tho writ for an election should, in. the ordinary course of things, be issued in the courso of a week or thereabouts. The vacancy should be gazetted to-morrow, and Mr. Speaker will then, nt his early convenience, instruct the Clerk of Writs to issue a writ forthwith. ' '
