I wish you would now publish the fact that a better and purer stimulant is in nearly every house, viz., chillies or which, if infused and added to the gruel, is a sure and safe stimulant. I have proved it many times. Also for horses with the gripes." The weekly gas-cooking demonstration given by Miss Una Carter will be held at the Gas Company's rooms to morrow at 3 o'clock. • A patriotic entertainment, which has been arranged by Mrs. l'ercy Woods for the y.W.C.A., will take place in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall to-night ■ at 8 o'clock.
