The eprins show of tho Hutt Valley Horticultural Society will be held in the Drill Hall, Lower Hutt, next Wednesday and Thursday. Hie Excellency the Gov-ernor-General and tlio OounteßS of Liverpool have intimated to the committee their intention of boi'nE proeont on the opening day, and Hie Eicellonoy will'open the show at J o'clock on Wednesday afternoon. By permission of the damp Commandant the Trentham Military Bswid will attend, and on Wednesday afternoon and. eveninc it will discourse : musical items, Tho show, it Jβ stated, prdminee to ■be one of the most eucoeseful' yet hold, as the open, amateur, oottage, and nurserymen s classes will all have fl larger number of exhibitors'tha'n hns been the case previously. The display in the narcissi ecclion is expeoted to be of. special ■ merit. Competition promisee to bo very keen for Mr. Robert Gibson's roee-bowl. The Ladies , Committee, preelded qvor by Miss Hayward, will dispense afternoon tea, and special provision H bolim made to accommodate visitors. The whole of the profits of tho Bhow are ;to be donated to the Wounded Boldtere' Fn'nd, and the society ia hopeful of considerably außmentins this fund. , ' '
