INDIA'S WAR EFFORTS
COUNTRY CONTINUING TO DO , ITS UTMOST. . , Simla, September 5. Lord Chelmsford, Viceroy of India, in opening the Legislative Council, reviewed India's war efforts, and indicated that th<3 country is continuing to do its utmost militarily and financially. India's contribution to the- second War Loan was over twenty -millions, and a further loan is proposed.—Router.
