The Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operative (Association 1 , Ltd., Pahiatua-, .report on their weekly sale, held at Hanjaliao yards, on September 3, as follows:—We offered a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle. Good quality hoggets met with ieeri'competition. We quotfe: 126 m.s. hosgßts,;>3os. ft.; 130 wether lioKgcts, 30* 4d.; small pen of B.D.- fat ami forward hojgets;:.'27s. 6dsmall'pen of fat and for- . ward;: wethers. and ewes,' 31s. 9d. The cattle'entries consisted chiefly of springingl heifers, And we were successful In disposing of the bulk of same. We quote: 6; good-quality t)vo ; ycai' swinging heifers, £12 ,10s.; 2 heifers with . calves at foot, '£13;' 3 springing, heifers, £12; 1 do., £8 7s. 6d.; dairy cows sold,fflt from £12 10s. to £14; 5 S.H. heifers, in.ealf to.S.H. bull, •'£9:l7s.; 1 fat heifer, £11 155.; 1 store heifer (forward), £7 12s. 6d.; yearling steers And. heifers, at from £4 2s. to £5 175.; steers, • £11; 175.; empty, cows, from £5 to £6 16s. t The Wairarapa Farmers' Co-op. 'Association, Ltd., report having held a clearing sale on behalf of Mr. A. Taylor, Tawalia, 3fartinborough; ;on September 3, 1 when they- offered his'herd of dairy cows. The came forward in good condition, and Jnet with keen competition from a good attendance. .Prices were as'follow:—Cows in milk, £11 10s., £12, £13.105., £14 10a.. £15, £15 10s., £16, to £21; springing cows, £11 12s. 6d., £12, £13 153., £14, a>l7, to £20; • empty store cows, £7, £8 55., to £8 155.; a fat ewe, 605.: (lucks, 3s. each: fowls; 2s. 9d. -cach; milk cans, 31s. 455.
