FATAL TRAM ACCIDENT, i By Itelesraph.—Press Association. Christctiurcli, September 4. A man named' 1 Frederick William Faulkner was knocked down by a tramcar last night and sustained serious injuries to his head. He died- in tha hospital early this morning. FARMER KILLED BY A FALLING TREE. ChristolHirch, September 4. George M'Clure, aged sixty, a wellknown farmer at Killincliy, was killed to-da,v while motoring to Irwell. A. tree being felled on the side of the road foil on the motor-oar, killing him instantly. His son, who was driving, was rendered unconscious: his daughter and granddaughter, who were in tlio back of the.car, were not injured. BODY FOUND AT SUMNER IDENTIFIED. Christoliiiroli, September 4. The bqdy found on the Sumner beach yesterday morning has been identified as that of Mrs. Ellen' Harriet Wilson, a widow with five' children. Sho had betm in a. despondent mood lately, and had been missing from her homo since Monday morning.
