Y.M.C.A. NOTES
! An enjoyable social, evening was spent at the Y.M.C.A. Rooms on Saturday'by about 100 soldiers, members, and lady friends. Mr. W. C. Baddeii presided, and an excellent programme was rendered by the Cheero Girls, Miss Dillon,'.Messrs. Brooks and Green, and the- Y.MC.A. Orchestra. Games wero indulged. 'in, and' supper served by Mcsdames Fossette and Kelly, of tho Ladies' Auxiliary.
Mr. H. H. Miller was the speaker at tho Sunday morning residents' and soldiers' service. The men's meeting was addressed, by the Rev. G. Knowles Smith on "Tho World's Unrest." Soldiers and visitors to the city were welcomed at i tho strangers' tea. Fifty-one- .soldiers were entortainod at the after-church .-supper. During the week-end, "184 beds and 430 meals were served to ; soldiers at the Hostel in Boulcott Street, and 145 beds and 245 meals at the main Y.M.C.A. in Willis Street. ..
