LIVE STOCK SALES
Tho Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operative Association, Ltd.', Dannevirke, report on their weekly sale, held at Dannevirke on/I'riday. A fairly good entry of sheep came forward, the demand for hoggets being again good, prices showing an improvement on last sales report.. Our entry consisted, of. a lew pens of medium stufl, which' sold at good prices. A small yarding of mixed cattle met' with a dragging sale, with tho exception oC good springins heifers and 2-year breeding heifers, which realised good prices. We sold the following lines.—ll cull hoggets, 9s. 6d.; 37 medium do., 165.: 60 shorn do., 17s. 9d.; 2 guaranteed dairy cows, £13 10j, and £14; 4 springing heifers, £11 to £11 155.: 4 cows in calf, £9 2s. Grt.; 2 cows in calf, £5 2s. 6d.: 7 mixed sex' yearlinss £5 35.; 13 do., rough sorts, £3 65.; 3 do., £2.
