Dempsey, of Hook. To test our claims in favour of Sutton's Seed, Mr. Dempsey filled every third canister of his Drill with Sutton's Seed, and the next two canisters with Rape obtained from another merchant. The result was that in every third row there was a fine crop of Sutton's Rape, while in the other two rows, where the other seed was sown, the plants were of a creeping j variety, quite uselessior feed. The crop was fed off until the 18th August, and we had the photo- j graph taken on the Ist September.—Yours faithfully, „ ~ •. ; , (Signed) E. HASSALL, Manager, ! ' ■ ■■ ■ !
