A PROTEST » FROM WELLINGTON LICENSED VICTUALLERS' ASSOCIATION. . The following resolutions wore adopted at a meeting of the Licensed Victuallers' Association, held yesterday:— "That tliis meeting of the Licensed Victuallers' Association of Wellington desires to express its surprise and indignation at tho action of tho leaders of the Prohibition Party, who, in an endeavour to secure signatures to a Petition asking Parliament to grant a referendum on the Liquor Question, aro inserting an advertisement in tho daily papers depicting the Licensed Trade as being hand-in-hand with tlio Kaiser."
