IN PALESTINE

OUR AIR FORCE MAINTAINS COMv PLETE MASTERY. (Rec. August 30, 7.40 p.m.) Cairo, August 28. Mr. W. T. Massey reports: "Our air force in Palestine maintains complete mastery of the air. During tho past few weeks we havo destroyed eleven enemy machines and driven down six. All save one fell within the Turkish linos, showing that we have to seek out the enemy, who avoids combat as much as possible. The Australians share in the air honours. In a recent encounter two Australian machines accounted for five out of seven attacking machines," —Aus.-N.Z.' Cable Assn.
