At the instigation of the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to .Animals .fames M'Donald, of Oli.i-rhi Valley, was'proceeded against in the Magistrate's Court yesterday on an information of having cruelly, illtrealcd seven pigs by confining, then) in .a box which was too. small, and .with having failed to provide ilioni with food or drink. Defendant was ordered to pay 30s. costs.
