WAIRARAPA PATRIOTIC ASSOCIATION
VOTES TO BRITISH RED CROSS MD FRENCH TRIBUTE FUNDS. (By Telegraph-Special Correspondent.)' Masterton, August 29. After a stirring address hy the Hon T. M. Wilford; the Wairarapa Patriotic Association to-day decided to vote £1000 to the British Red Cross Fund. Jt is hoped by voluntary offort to at least double this amount. The association also voted £300 to the French Tribute Fund. It was further decided to make more liberal grants to returned soldiers than had been made in the past.
