At tho Supremo Court' Francis Norton Thompson, solicitor, of Hastings, was charged with the theft of trust moneys totalling £1780 from a client named Gotfried Petrowski. The jury disagreed, and a now trial was ordered for next session. Henry Martin, a tfarm manager, was charged with tho theft- of fivo cattlo from the bankrupt estate of I). Cassin. Accused claimed an interost ifi the cattle, and was found not guilty. ■ Stanley Alexander Lawless was found not guilty of indecent assault.
