ACTIVITY ON THE VABDAII aND IN ALBANIA. (Rec. August 28, 0.30 a.m.) London, August 26. A French communique states: "There was the greatest artillery activity on both banks of the Vardar ill the neighbourhood of llouma. "In Albania the Austrians twice attacked the Franco-Italians in the region at the confluence of the Devoli and tomoriea.
