LECTURE TO WOMEN TEACHERS
An address to' the Women Teachers' Association was delivered Inst night i>y Mr. F. G. Dalssiell. Miss i\. E. Coad presided. Tho general thome of Mr. Dalzicll's discourse, was by way cf an attempt to answer the question- 'What should we do with our life?" Mr. Dabiell, in the course of a talk on the primary and essential proved facts of life, stated some profound yofc sin:plo truth's, and he also .made aomo generalisations which would not lind ready icceptance everywhere. It was not in any sense of the word a lecturo on rules of.conduct as based on an accepted code of ethics. Mr. Dalzioll sought rather to discover the facts and tendencies which are at the hasis of all codes. Afterwards he endeavoured to ipply his laws and defined facts :o a reduction down to constituent elements of such human activities as education and government.
