The following recommendation of tho Baths and Ueanlios Coir.miUoo of tlio City Council was agreed to (in comniiU.no) kßt evening:— the request of the flallis, Liblories, and Beaches Committee for authority to proceed with the following works, at the estimated ,cost set opposite each, lio agreed to, and tho works put in hand us soon as possible:—(l) Extra bathing accommodation for men and women at Evans Bay, estimated cost £250. (2) Pavilion for tho hire of costumes, towols, etc., and Bale of not water, Lyall Bay beach, estimated coat £500/'
