The annual congregational meeting of tho Kelburn Presbyterian Churcli was held on Wednesday evening, the Rev. W. Day presiding. There was n prolonged vacancy in the charge, until a unanimous and hearty call was given to tho liev. William Day, of Whangarei, who was duly inducted on July 11, 1918. The Management Committee's report showed that the financial position had improved, there being a credit balance of Jls, as against a debit last year of dCG9. One of the causes of the' improved finances was the introduction of die "envelope system" for weekly collections.
