We aro in receipt of a very carefully drawn map of tho Borough of Miraiuar, which, is the first plan-map of tho kind ever issued in 6uch a complete form. The plau, which is tho excellent and painstaking work of Messrs. Palmer and Mahood, takes in tho whole of Miramar (showing every section of each block so far cut up), and that portion of South kilbirnie on the city side of the boundary which has been so thickly built upon in recent yeans. Thero aro also clearly shown in correct scalo relation, the military reserves,, education board reserves, the tramway routes, wharves, and principal buildings (all clearly named). The only portion of the Miramar Peninsula uot ehown'on tho map is that part north of tho boundary lino of tho northern military reserve (which includes Fort Ballance, Scorching Bay, Mahangn, Kau, and Shelly Bays), and tho extreme southern area, south of the outer signal station and golf links, which land has not heou cut up for residential purposes. Tho map, which roughly is three feet by two in measurement, i 6 strongly mounted on linen-lined papor, calculated to lost a lifetime.
