J)ale. members of the llutt load Board, attached tlieir names forwally to the new U.utt Koatl by-law yesterday. When the rest of the members subscribe their .names, the new by-law will have parsed through all stages of tho boards approval. On Die suggestion of the Mayor (Mr. J. ].'. Luke), who was not present yesterday afternoon, it is not proposed to make feos chargeable for tlio different classes nf motor vehicles until six months after the war.

I'he Cil.v Solicitor explained to members of the board that the Mayor thoii»lit the postponement of tho charging of fees until after the war was only proper, as those who paid the fees were entitled to a quid pro quo, and thoy were not able to give it to them in the form of tha concrete road yet, nor would they be able to do so until after the war.
