GOVERNMENT URGED TO TAKE STEPS TO PREVENT IT.

Palmsrston North, August 21 The Cheltenham Dairy Company, at its annual meeting, passed tho following resolution: "This meeting views with alarm the accumulation of land under single ownership in this and the surrounding districts, and respectfully urges upon the National Government the necessity of taking steps to prevent the aggregation of land, which it considers to be inimical to tho best interfsts of Ihe dairying industry, and.tho small fanners of New Zealand."
