BOYS' INSTITUTE

On Thursday evening last Mr. G. A. Troup presented tho medals won at tho July Gymnastic Competitions, and. expressed his appreciation of the good work that was being done in this section of the Institute's activities. The winners of the medals were:—Senior grade. G. Falloon; intermediate, L. Barker and L. Fcnby (equal); junior grade, F. .Bison. These were given for the first of a scries of monthly competitions, which will take place during tho present season; the rosulte showing good work donft by tho now gymnastic instructor, Mr. Mnnley. ,
