SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
There was a big attendance at the Sailors' Friend Rociely on Tlnirsday, when the sailors in por!, in addition to the lulls of the Aniokura, wore entertained by Miss Tolaii-Curtis and her party. An outstanding feature of Ihe evening was a dialogue, "foiled," given by the Misses A. Tolar-Curtis and .U'Carthy, and Messrs. Knowles and Vnsi-r, and Sener. Two hours passed all 100 iiuiekly in song, recital, and clhink The performers were: Mesdames Mueller stud the Misses V Mueller, M. Dimock. and Messrs. Powell, Claii-P. Lnne, Portere. Miis Paul was a most efficient accompanist. Light refreshments were dispensed. llr. Moore moved the vole of thanks, and it was carried with cheers.
