SEATOUN CLUB
The annual report oi tho Seatoun Bowling Club to fce presented at tho annual meeting states that tho active list showed 32 bowlers and 11 honorary meniDcrs; tennis, 20 seniors, 9 juniors; and 10 .croquet players; as against 30 bowlers, 2G tennis ,and 17 croquet players last year. The balance-sheet shows a credit balance of JC9 18s. Id. for tho season. All nccouuts had been paid, including Mr. A. D. Crawford's account of .£35 lis. Id. due on Juno 30 last. The club expended this year ,£37 ss. for wages, as against Jl7 ss. 6d. last year. An expense of £3 15s. lid. to repair a slip on the croquet court was incurred. The work waß executed free cf cost of labour by three of the directors; a considerable portion of tho material is in hand ill case of ft further slip. Tho amount received for tennis this year was .£2O ss. Gd., as against .£2O 6s. last year. No matches were played, but it is hoped tho members this coming season will rally together and make an effort to popularise the seclion. Two new nets had to bo provided, j costing .C 3 Is. Bd.
