The "Our Day" appeal for October 2-1 having been received from His Excellency the Governor-General, it has been decided by tiie New Zealand branch of tho British IJed'Cross Society and the Order of St. John that His AVorsliip the Mayor bo asked to call a meeting of tho citizens of Wellington at an early date, to 60t up tho usual "Our Day" committee. A letter from headquarters stated that His Excellency had agreed to sign, posters to bo used for tho purpose of llie Bed Cross drive in connection with tho "Our Day" appeal.
