THE NAVY LEAGUE

Tho monthly meeting of the Executive Committeo of the Wellington Branch of the Navy League was held on Tuesday, Mr. J. B. Harcourt presiding. Mrs. Hall-Thompson reported on tho recent activities of .the Ladies' Auxiliary Branch, and mentioned that Mrs, Bi'nd-ney-Williams had found it necessary to resign from the position of lion, secretary. Members spoke very highly of the work which Mrs, Braduey-Williams had clone during her term of office, and a vote of appreciation for tho services.rendered was carried. Tho result of. tho Balloon and Flower Day was reported to tho meeting, and votes of thanks wcro passed to Mrs. Darling and her assistants for carrying out such a successful effort. The members of the Art Exhibition, Committee and Mi's. Earlc, lion, secretary, were also thanked for services rendered in connection with that movement. Very great appreciation was also expressed of the effort made by Mrs. W. I).
