SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
The men from sea were entertained by Mesdames Child and Walker and -their helpers at a concert on Tuesday at the Sailors' Friend Society. The soloists and reciters were also encored. Tho performers were the Mesdames B. J. Child, L. 0. Walker, and J. Lewis, the Misses 11. Cooley, C. S'llifant, V. Dormer, 31. Cooley, and Master W. Coo'ey. Miss Walker was the accompanist. Mr. Moore spoke on the Temperance question, and pledges followed. ' ' .
