Shutc, Jlatahiwi, on Monday, whon they, oflered thirty-six cowb and heifers to a fair attendance of buyers. Springing cov.-a made from £10 to £19 55.; cows in milk, to £16 155.; and heifers, from £10 to £11 17s. 6d„ the whole -herd averaging £12 10s. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agoncy Co. reportAt the Himatangi sale on Monday wo had an averago yarding of. both sheep and cattle. The attendance was fair, and prices were on a par with recent sales. Quotations:—Store ewes, 14s. Bd.; small two-tooth ewes, 21a. 6d.; small hogeets, Us.:'yearling heifors, 345. to £2 17s. 6(1.; yearling steers, £2 10s.; v store cows, £4 lis.: forward cows, £7 15s. to' £9 25.; cows and oalves, £6 10s.: dairy cows, from £7 to £11: springing heifers, £10 17s. 6d.
