MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Management Committee of tho Wellington Rugby Union was held last night, when there were present:, Messrs. D. D. Weir (in the chair), A. C. ICitto, 6. Ponoke, on Saturday, September 14. Mr. R. J. M'llraith was deputed to act as manager of the Wellington team whiei is to play W-airarapa nt Carterton on Saturday nest. Mr. E. Perry was appointed to take charge of representative teams at gymnasium practices. The committee resolved to play _ tho semi-final of the third class competition as a "curtain-raiser" to the WellingtonWairarapa return representative match on August 21.
