BROOKLYN HARRIERS
Last Saturday the run of tho Brooklyn Harriers and Amateur Athletic Club took place from Te Aro Baths. The trail was laid by H. Steero and L. Todd. About two' hundred yards from home the pack' was halted, and handicapped by the club captain for the run-in. Tho result, was a win for N. Townsend, with J). Wilson second, and I'. Cummins third. The members and supporters were afterwards the guests of tho club committee at the clubroom. After tea the evening opened with choruses by c.lu)j members, Miss 1 ? . Snell recited and Miss Abel sang. Games and dances followed. Mr. Harlen, on behalf of the members and supporters, thanked tlm committee for.their very enjoyable evening. The three-mile copper trail teams' race, _ it was announced, will take place from Seatcun.
