The Hying froft is found in Borneo. It uses an expansive membrane on ouch sido of its fopt in «ailin? frorii tree to tree. Tlie ivebs enable it do this in the same way as the wings of the modern flying machine enables our aviators to remain in the air. The perfectly round pearls are the most valuable, next come the pear-shaped, and lastly the egg-shaped.
