TE HIWI CLUB'S ANNUAL MEETING. Tho annual meeting of tho To Hiwi Bowling Club was held last evening, Mr. C. Hill, sen., presiding. The report congratulated members on a very successful season. Probably the most important feature was tho number of inter-club matches engaged in. During the whole season_ every Saturday, with one or (wo exceptions, was iccupied with arranged matches against teams from other clubs in the centre, almost all tf which were played on the home green. The results of the games as far as the scores were concerned was very satisfactory from the Te Hiwi point of view, and in every case the matches weire keen. The incoming committee will need to consider if it is possible to carry out a similar programme next season unde" present conditions,, or if it would not be tetter to agree to tho mutual arrangement of friendly games on Saturday afternoons ir.stcad of a series of fi«d engagements (luring the season. Several iiombers hhva left for tho war, and the club's ranks will 'be further depleted .luring the coming season. The following officers were elected:— Life president, Mr. C. Hiil., sen.; life vice-president, Mr. E. J. Hill; executive committee, Msssr?. E. If. Fountain, AV. AVylie, L. Cohon, A. AA r nrwick, lion, secretary/ Mr. It. W. Shallcnss; i.on. trea si.rcr, Mr. 71. G. Smith: lion, auditor, Mir. .T. B. Brinsdon; delegate to centra, Mr. E. J. Hill. It was decided that ine : neoming committee be recommended not lo arrange Saturday afternoon match's, but that members be given the opportunity of fixing games-for themselves on these <-f(ernoons, and that tho club should not lako part in the champion vf champion Contests arranged bv the centre,
