Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Eevin on Tuesday, there was a fair yarding of sheep and a medium one" of cattle. The demand for all classes of Rtock was good, and wo quitted practically every lino at the following rates:—Sheep: Pat wethers, 345. 5d.; light fat ewes, 305.; fat hoggets, 235. 7d.; small two-tooth weancrs, 245. 6d.; low-conditioned empty ewes, Bs. to 12s. Id.; empty ewes, 225. Cattle: Light fat bullocks. £15 165.; vealers, £4 65.; dairy cows, £10, £11 155., £13 10s., to £17 10s. Pigs: Stores, 195., 225., 265., 325., to 355.; porkers, £2 8s„ £2 125., to £3 ss. The Wairarapa, Farmers' Co-operative Association, Ltd., report having held their weekly sale at the Colombo Eoad yards, Masterton, on Wednesday, when they offered a good yarding of sheep and cattle to a large attendance. Quotations:—Fat wethers, 365. ,4d.; fat and -forward ewes, 255. 4d.; store ewes, 235. Bd.; white-faced hoggets, 20s. 7d., 225.. to 245. 10d.; blackfaced hoggets, 17s. 4d„ 17s. 6d., to IBs.; springing heifers- (of which there was a large entry) made £11 15s. to £14 for early calvers; late calvers, £7 55., £7 10s., £8 10s., to £9 155.; light fat heifers, £9 17s. 6d. .
