Wright. . ; . , Tho .suggestion of the Petone Borough Council that the workmen on the Uutt Road bo appoiuted to act as rangers to report drivers of motor-cars using tho cycle-track was not acceded to, as it was considered that it would-involve the men leaving work frequently to attend court as witnesses. . An application is to be made to the Government valuation Department, for a revaluation of the Mangalino (Pakiatun) endowment. . Negotiatfons are to be entered into with the Wellington Harbour Board in connection with their application that Iho extension of Waterloo Quay, TTmemoa Street, and Cornwell Street be taken over ns public streets, in terms of the city solicitor's opinion.
