ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
RAILWAY POUTER SERIOUSLY INJURED. By Telegraph—Press Association Greymouth, August 8. A serious accident happened to a porter named J. J. Burns at the Dunollie Station to-day. Burns was in the act of fixing the couplings between two trucks when the train moved. The two trucks went over the unfortunate lad's legs, severing one and frfSusly crushing the other. He was taken to Hie hospital. His condition is serious.
