In tho newspaper controversy regarding tho policy after the war, Mr. Beeby, Minister for Labour and Industry, contends that the threats to continuo tho war after military victory in the economic sphero will ouly tend to solidify our enemies. Nothing would be moro useful to tho Kaiser than such an announcement by the responsible Empire leadens. Ho declared that Australia had an open mind on tho question,-and until tho final balancing took placo sho was prepared to say she did not cave what 'beenmo of tho conquered colonics so long as tho final pcaco terms prevented Prussian inililarism ever again deluging tho world in blood and tears.—Press Assn.
