ARMY GENERALS NOMINATE A PRESIDENT. New York, August 7. The Peking correspondent of- the New York "Times" states that the generals of the Northern Chinese, Army, after a conference, decided to nominate Asu ShihCliang, a former Yice-Primo Minister, for tho Presidency. It is understood that tho choice is acceptable to the Southern provinces—Aus.-N.Z., Cable Assn.
