GLOOMY WEATHER
Gloomy weather was Wellington's portion yesterday; in fact (he gloom was general. The wind, which had been blowing from the north-west, with frequent rain squalls, changed to the south towards evening, and very heavy rain fell. Present indications arc for high west to south and south-easterly winds, gloomy weather, with heavy rain, Hooded irivers in many parts, and snow on tho higher levels.
