APPEAL FOB MORE SPACE. '< A' statement about the shipment «t tallow from Ifew Zealand was made by the Minister in Charge nf Imperial Supplies (the Hon. D. H, Guthrie) to r reporter yesterday. "There aie at present upwards of 30,00(1 tons of tallow in store in New Zenland " said Mr. Guthrie. "Tho value of this product is something like a million and a quarter sterling. For some tivno past there has Ibeen very little opportunity of getting any considerable amount of shipmuff space for this commodity, and the heavy accumulation in the stores, has Income embarrassing. /Recently verv strong representations have been made" to the Prime Minister (Mr. Massev) on this matter, and we have ha assurance that lie ia using his best, endeavours to have the existing congestion relieved.
