RUGBY CONTROL
A PETONE DEPUTATION. The Management Committee of the Wellington JJugby Union met last evening air. D. D. Weir, presided. ] •\ deputation from the Potone Club waited on «Mio committee ami requested the rescission of the sentence of suspension for two playing .Saturdays of Arthur Parker on a charge of kicking a player. The deputation contended that the toi'erce wis not in a position to see what occurred, and that nearly all the members of the commiUee were out of view.
