[ THE WEATHER FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for high northwesterly to south-westerly winds, equally and unsettled conditions, with rain probable generally. Barometer unsteady with a falling tendency. _ Southerly windo decreased generally during the night, giving place 4° freshening north-westerlies to-day. Eain has fallen on tho west coast and southern districts. Atmospheric pressure has proved unsteady, rising for a short time in the north and falling in tho south. D. C. BATES, Director.
