RUPTURE AND ITS TREATMENT.
Mr. A. W. Martin, Rupture Specialist and Solo' Controller of Dr. J. A. Sherman's Method of Treatment, has arrived in Wellington from Dnneclin, and may bo consulted free at the Hotel Cecil up to August 28, when lie will leave for 'Auckland. The 'Dr. Sherman method of .treating rupture is diametrically opposed to the ordinary truss system, which, exerting a downward .pressure, pushes Unruptured walls apart and ' increases the trouble. Thus, when once worn, it has to be worn a lifetime. On an exactly opposite principle, the Dr. Sherman method exerts an upward, "contractile" pressure, immediato relief is given, and tlio rupture gradually becomes smaller and smaller, until permanent cure is the result. As no two cases aro alike, personal attendance is necessary. Sufferers in tlio country districts should take a day off for the 6ako of scientific treatment. Send to Mr. Martin, at Hotel Cecil, Wellington, for free booklet, "Kupturo and its Treatment." It contains information of vital importance for all afflicted. Note that no elastic trusses aro used in this treatment.—Advt.
