A DAY OF INTERCESSION
Under the auspices of tho Wellington Council of Churches, an nil-day service of intercession in conncclion with the war will bo held in the Taranaki Street Methodist Church to-morrow. The service will begin at 10 a.ni., and will go on right through the day until 9 p.m. Tho names of those who will preside over tho various sessions arc as' followßevs. Dr. J. K. Elliott, W. Phillips, J. Heed Glasson, IV. Shirer, S. Beckingham, E. Drake, A. E. Hunt, and J. G. Chapman, the Hon. C. M. Luke, and Messrs. W. Allan and Kersley. Tho following or' ganists will also tako part: Mesdamea W. A. Evans and Whiteman, and Messrs. Temple White, T. Forsyth, W. H. Collio, C. Collins, C. W. Kerry, and Harland. Each hour will be occupied by the singing of suitable hymns, prayers that the war may come to an oarly and successful conclusion will be offered up, and brief addresses will be given. Hymn sheets will be provided. Similar services hold in Wellington and other places in connection with the war have been markedly successful, and it is anticipated that to-morrow's various meetings will bo largely attended.
