LANCE-CORPORAL DOW UNO GIVEN a LIFE SENTENCE. London, August 4. Lanco-Corporal Dowiing, who recently landed 011 tho Irish coast from a German submarine, was sentenced to death by court-martial, but the sentence was commuted to servitude for life.
